WHERE IS THE THEATRE?

Theatre Raleigh is based inside the Kennedy Theatre, which is located around the back of the
Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.

While the address is technically “2 E. South St.,” the entrance to the theatre is off of S. Salisbury St.

WHERE DO I PARK?

Free parking (including handicapped spaces) is available in the the Kennedy Theatre lot, via the entrance off S. Salisbury Street.

Free street parking is also available on Kindley St.
(If you are coming down S. Salisbury St., take a right just before you get to the Kennedy Theatre entrance.)

Please Note:
The paved and gravel lots across the street from the Kennedy are currently reserved by the city for staff/permit parking only.
We cannot guarantee patron access to these areas at this time.

If the options above are full or unavailable, there is paid parking available in the following locations:

The parking deck at the corner of Salisbury St. and South St.
The paid flat lot directly across from the front entrance of Memorial Auditorium.

I'M HERE! WHERE DO I GO?

If you parked in the Kennedy Theatre lot:
The entrance to the theatre is under the portico, through the double glass doors.

If you parked on Kindley St:
Cross Salisbury St. and proceed to the brick entrance with the signage “Kennedy Theatre.”
The entrance to the theatre is under the portico, through the double glass doors.

If you parked in one of the paid lots off South St:
If you are facing Memorial Auditorium, go to your RIGHT and follow the sidewalk around the back of the Duke Energy Center complex.
(If you go to the left you will end up at the loading dock for Memorial/Fletcher.)
You will see the brick Kennedy Theatre sign on your left. The entrance to the theatre is under the portico, through the double glass doors.
